MICHAEL K. AUSTEN, PS
Registered Professional Land SurveyorSince 1981, Mr. Austen has been in the field
of land surveying, and is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the states of Ohio,
Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS:
Michael Austen's range of
experience throughout his surveying career has been diverse. He has been the Project
Surveyor for major freeway projects, including West Virginia Department of Transportation
Projects, Ohio Department of Transportation Projects, and California Department of
Transportation I-105. After the completion of the I-105 construction project, Mr. Austen
went on to become the I-105 monumentation coordinator for the entire I-105 freeway.
Mr. Austen has varied
experience in construction staking, subdivision, utilities, topographic, slope staking,
rights-of-way, boundary/monumentation, bridges, photogrammetric, as-builts, A.L.T.A.
surveys, horizontal and vertical control networks, and aerial and seismic surveys. Other
projects in which Mr. Austen has been involved include Los Angeles subway stations,
William P. Hobby Airport taxiways, Houston Sewer Treatment Plant, large boundary surveys,
large subdivision developments and high rise construction projects.
